Wine making

Viticulture in the process of conversion. Traditional hand picking into small crates. Fermentation in new demi-muid, Fermentation in new oak barrels, Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel vats, Pressing, Destemming. Ageing in new demi-muid (large wooden vat), Ageing in new oak barrel, Light filtering, Traditional corks, Ageing on the lees. Sols argileux, Sols argilo-calcaires, Sols calcaires, Sols limoneux.

Appareance

Crimson colour, deep, red highlights. La cuvée la Talentueuse 2018 se distingue par son grenache mûri à l’extrême tout en gardant la fraîcheur, et son bouquet de fruits riche allant de la mara des bois à la fève de tonka avec une pointe de cacao. La syrah vient juste jouer les trouble-fêtes et signer sa présence par sa trame poivrée qui en font une cuvée bien épicée. La bouche est riche, ronde, croquante, gourmande et longue en final.

Nose

Complex, distinguished, raspberry aromas, red fruit aromas, blackberry aromas, slight black pepper aromas, generous liquorice aromas, subtle vanilla aromas, subtle coffee aromas, subtle leather aromas, slight smoky aromas, slight oak aromas, subtle oak aromas, leather aromas. Nez bien ouvert sur des notes de fruits rouges murs sur un arrière-plan d’épices et d’arômes vanillés. Impact discret de l’élevage en bois.

Palate

Aromatic, rich, dense, slight bay leaf hints, subtle virginia tobacco hints, sweet pepper hints, elegant tannin, round tannin, ripe tannin, structured body, good intensity, long length. Bouche ample et fondue aux arômes nets et tanins soyeux, des fruits rouges et des épices. Bel équilibre et bonne persistance en bouche.
