Après un élevage en demi-muids de chêne de plus de 18 mois, la prédominance du Grenache qui est le cépage phare des Côtes du Rhône, offre à ce vin puissant une belle couleur pourpre et une longueur remarquable. L’Audacieuse se distingue par son grenache mûri à l’extrême avec des fruits confis, des notes très florales et animales au goût de cuir et de terroir, tout en gardant une grande fraicheur.

Wine making

Viticulture in the process of conversion. Traditional hand picking into small crates. Fermentation in new demi-muid, Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel vats, Pressing, Macération pré fermentaire à froid, Destemming. Ageing in new demi-muid (large wooden vat), Light filtering, Bottling by hand, Traditional corks. Sols argileux, Sols argilo-graveleux, Sols calcaires, Sols limoneux.

Appareance

Garnet red colour, deep, garnet red highlights. Robe couleur pourpre profonde.

Nose

Delicate, balanced, blackburrant buds aromas, subtle blackcurrant aromas, slight raspberry aromas, generous red fruit aromas. Nez bien ouvert sur des arômes de fruits confits très murs des notes florales et animales avec un arrière-plan de cassis. Impact discret de l’élevage en bois.

Palate

Distinguished, generous, unctuous, generous blackcurrant hints, slight morello cherries hints, subtle raspberry hints, smooth tannin, silky tannin, full-bodied tannin, round, slightly mineral, structured body, good intensity, good length. Bouche ample et fondue aux arômes soyeux de fruits rouges, des notes minérales, une longueur remarquable et une belle puissance en bouche.
